ParboTalk! is the ParboNet Voice-over-Internet Protocol service. Voice-over-Internet Protocol, also known as VoIP, is the transport of voice data via a data network by means of the Internet Protocol (IP). The analogue voice signals are first digitalized and then transferred through a particular protocol into small IP packages that are transported via the data network. When these packages arrive at the receiving end, they are assembled again and converted into audible human voices. VoIP enables you to make phone calls where ever there is broadband internet.
ParboNet has reserved special bandwidth required for this VoIP service. Thus, the required bandwidth will NOT use your bandwidth but you get this FREE OF CHARGE when you use ParboTalk!

ParboTalk! HardPhone
In order to make use of the ParboTalk! HardPhone the customer has to have a VoIP-phone. These phones look like regular phones but instead of a standard phone plug, they are provided with an Ethernet plug. This phone is connected to wireless internet.
The phone has built-in soft- and hardware for VoIP- calls and it works even when your PC is turned off. You will get an extension that is like a personal VoIP-telephone number.
ParboTalk! SoftPhone
The ParboTalk! SoftPhone uses your PC as a VoIP- phone.
The ParboTalk! SoftPhone is by far the cheapest solution! Assuming that you already have a PC. By means of our special software that you can download from our website you are now able to make phone calls with any other PC that has our software installed. All you need is a PC with wireless internet connection, a microphone and speakers that are connected to your sound card. The extension you get is like a personal VoIP phone number.

What is ParboTalk! 0900-BelSuri?
ParboTalk! 0900-BelSuri is a ParboNet call service where you can make international phone calls at very low rates. The ParboNet subscriber has to have the ParboTalk! HardPhone or the ParboTalk! Softphone, available at ParboNet.
How does ParboTalk! 0900-BelSuri work?
The current call rates to the US, the Netherlands and most other European countries are only $ 0.06 per minute. Refer to our Rate page for information about rates to other countries. As a ParboTalk! Subscriber you can be called directly from the Netherlands for only € 0.10 per minute. Tell your family and friends that they can reach you at 0900-BELSURI or 0900-2357874.
After the caller has dialed the number (0900-2357874), an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will ask him/her to enter the extension number of the customer that he wishes to reach. As soon as you enter the extension number, the HardPhone or SoftPhone at your home will ring and you are now able to have a normal telephone conversation with the caller.
